Faces of the members in Kampala

One more picture of the Presidents - 1 hour together.

Nathan All Dressed up for Church

This lady is from the US.  She is adopting the young man on her right.  He is in an orphanage and is deaf.  She is coming back in a month to pick up his best friend and adopting him as well.  She has 8 of her own biological children at home.  This young man was so happy.

Got my hair cut.  The hair dresser used paper scissors - the kind you buy in Walmart. He dropped the comb on the floor about 10 times and at home they put it in disinfectant and get a new comb out but not here.   I was a little worried but it was okay.
The Chatfields came to church with us.  Driving is a little intimidating.

Christine is our house keeper.  Her baby is due any time now so she has a difficult time climbing to the fourth floor where our apartment is but she is a trooper.  She served a mission in Zimbabwe and they threw her and her companion in jail because she didn't have the right visa.  She did have the right visa but the police were corrupt and wanted money from the church.  Her and her companion spent three days with no food or blanket or bed.  They huddled under a table together.  She is a happy cheerful young woman.  I am excited to meet her new baby.

Meeting of the minds.  They were scheduled to baptize a family of six today but it had to be delayed.  President Chatfield is very good with these missionaries.

The family at Ntinda ready for baptism.

The kids love to get their picture taken.

The road up to the Ntinda branch meeting house.  This is a typical road in Kampala.  It is a necessity to have a four wheel drive vehicle.
